How far are you willing to go to find your True Self?

Soul Searching? How can one accommodate any peace with the traditional vacation? Resort, party, people, booze, food, chlorine water– Ahhh! This is the life, isn’t it?

For some maybe…

But, it’s more than just about “getting away” these days.

Day in and day out, people seamlessly schedule in their casual 2-week vacations only to watch them come and go. The temporary escape from “reality” is evident in the long depressive sigh regarding the return of the long, and tedious work week ahead.

It is about finding meaning with the time away from your working experience.

Soul searching is about tipping the scales back in your favour.

Re-balance yourself with your thoughts, and your emotions. Re-evaluate your home life, social life, physical body, and every other facet of your being.

Actually, a vacation done-right is likely the most crucial time to take for yourself, to make the necessary changes in fulfilling your true alignment in this world.

Not to knock too hard on the traditional getaway, but it is imperative to evaluate yourself in search of the most meaningful, and constructive experience possible.

Wherever You Go, There You are

So, you might have heard them say.

We can only seek to escape for so long before we yearn to find meaning within the depths of our self. That is what soul searching is, a dive so deep into our own solitude to discover our deepest yearnings and callings.

All inclusive? Sure, once or twice. A necessary stepping stone in figuring ourselves out.

But, if it’s your jam, it’s your jam. And maybe, just maybe, that’s what this meaning thing is all about.

Life’s A Party,

Littermature.
