Behind The Notebook

“Buen Camino!” is what you say on your pilgrimage towards Santiago De Compostela; a marvelous experience for anyone to experience.

This is my personal tribute to my first Camino journey after walking 900km of the Camino Frances, which included a portion of the trail on the Camino Portuguese.

Throughout my journey as a Peregrino (Pilgrim), many thoughts and ideas flowed through my mind. Some of these revelations slipped beyond me, but I was able to retain a good number of them as I wrote them down quickly enough to work with.

I find great solace and personal empowerment in being able to express my words onto paper as it helps steer my life vision in the way that I dream it.

Truly, the Camino was a great experience that I can recommend time and time again to anyone, regardless of circumstance.

Whether you are, or were a peregrino yourself, we all have a journey to undertake. It is here that I feel a deep sense of appreciation with the phrase “Buen Camino”, as it means Good Way.

Wherever your way ends up, learn to love the steps that take you there.
